Perspective
Over the 20+ years that I have been teaching college level courses in technology, I become more and more convinced of the essential importance of informing students about the pedagogy of their instructional activities. Sometimes we forget that our students don’t think much about pedagogy. They typically have a very limited perception of their own process of learning. They are usually focused almost solely on results, rather than the process. I believe that one of our most important responsibilities as educators is to lift them above the maze of their learning process and let them see it from above. If you have thoughts about this issue, you are welcome to post them here. This blog is a test-project for me. So I don’t know how active it will be. But I welcome your thoughts and will try to contribute mine as time allows.
